PUBLICATIONS

The longstanding tradition of WTA as a research institution is best represented by its requested publications. Sponsorship will help off-set the cost of printing and research hours. Your company logo will be in a key location and distributed for free to all WTA Members, Wyoming State Legislators, top elected officials and key stakeholders. All publications are available online www.wyotax.org.

Wyoming Property Taxation - County-by-County report detailing the assessed value and mil levies for all Wyoming taxation jurisdictions. The publication also includes a special district report with detailed accounts on each type of district, limits affecting taxing authority and location. This booklet is one of the most referenced and sought-after tax documents in Wyoming.

Wyoming Tax Summary - A quick refence guide to Wyoming state and local government taxes. Each section includes the tax base, rate, exemptions, collection procedures, distribution revenue and government agency contacts. This resource has been referred to as the “Tax Bible” by Wyoming legislators and is not available in any other format. How Wyoming Compares - Wyoming's revenues and expenditures are compared to the other 49 states. We update on even numbered years.

Virtual Publications

Tax Roundup Newsletter - WTA's monthly newsletter is considered invaluable by members as being the most timely, concise, and accurate information source on Wyoming taxation and government. Topics covered in past newsletters include state and local revenue and spending trends and analysis, state economic reports, legislative updates, streamlined tax initiatives, among others. This newsletter is sent electronically to all members, legislators, and key stakeholders.

WTA Website - www.wyotax.org provides information about our organization, membership information, research and education, advocacy along with the latest news in tax policy. Key metrics include over 20,000 page views and 50,000 hits a month.

SPECIAL & EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

WTA hosts a myriad of special and educational events each legislative and interim season. Members and special guests are invited to compare various tax and policy issues and engage with legislators, elected officials and thought leaders at receptions and special events. Sponsorship levels include visibility before, during, and after the event with increased visibility to our members, industry leaders, legislators, federal, state and local government representatives.

Policy Meetings - WTA Members meet on a weekly basis (Monday afternoons) during the Legislative Session to discuss timely bills, receive updates on bill status and summaries of the legislative budget. There are several interim policy meetings during the year. We host coffee, water, soft drinks and snacks for all our members on the go. Policy meetings average 20-50 attendees.

Legislative Receptions - Receptions are usually combined with a WTA policy meeting or legislative meeting and provide members access to legislators and policy officials. Receptions average 75-100 attendees.

Toast & Taxes - A highlight during session, Members can sponsor an intimate breakfast during session to discuss an important tax issue with seasoned legislators. General legislative session for 2021 we will host four (4) events. Hosted in the Capital Complex, we average about 50-75 participants with over half being legislators.

WTA ANNUAL MEETING & RECEPTION

Each year members, legislators, and leadership gather to gain and share insights plus learn from the experts about upcoming policy – all in one place at one time during the WTA Annual Meeting & Reception. Co-host this program with an intimate Member and Legislator Only Reception, a robust Policy Meeting, Policy Panels with industry leaders and tax experts, followed by the Annual Meeting Luncheon featuring keynote, Governor Mark Gordon. Sponsorship levels include visibility before, during, and after the event with increased visibility to our members, industry leaders, legislators, federal, state and local government representatives.
